What is a mechanical keyboard? I'd prefer an explanation over a link.
they're keyboards that use mechanisms such as buckling springs and cherry switches instead of silicone bubbles. They tend to be louder (Unless you have a Cherry brown switch or something) and have a more tactile feel. the only real way of really knowing is to try one out. I didn't have any clue what they were like until I saw a Black Widow demo model.
