I've been permabanned four times and this is my first alt that I paid for.
How does that sound for that statement?
Your previous Alts were easily created without need for purchase of a new BLID. Back then there was no connecting your Forums account to your BLID. Which is why if someone was banned back then the chances were they could be back in five minutes time with a new e-mail address, or a proxy.
They might be able to do the same now, but they'll have to pay too. Which puts most of the younger banned members out of action.
And surely this Alt didn't require you to have to buy one either? Unless your key was deactivated, wouldn't you just use your original BLID Auth Key to register this account for use, since you never used it for previous accounts as this system wasn't around when you had those accounts?
And I would also say that you should be watched, considering your ban history.
You've been alright so far, but that doesn't mean you aren't being watched by others. I'm certain that some will train their eyes on you like hawks.
Consider the Drama board, as well as the rest of the members on the forums, to act as a Probation Service and Probation Officers. If you step out of line, we'll know and you'll be reported. Drama topics on members on "probation" (returned) are literally having a warning out saying to watch out for this member.
Perhaps it is paranoid, but the history of idiots that these Forums have put up with has made us this way. And to an extent the system works. We shouldn't be complaining about it.
