"Server could not verify your blockland ID"

Whenever I try to join a server, I am immediately disconnected with a message that says "Server could not verify your Blockland ID." I noticed that this started after I switched internet providers a week ago. Although my new internet is supposed to give 10 mbs, I am getting no more than 3 mbs (download speed) and no more than 1 mbs (upload speed) according to "speedtest.net." The technician is coming out to fix my internet soon but I have a good feeling that my slow internet is causing this error. Is that possible, or is there a different issue here?




Things I have tried:

• Re-entered key
• Typed auth_init_client(); in console (It said SUCCESS, but I still couldn't join servers)
• Changed name to what it already was

My only guess is that due to the high ping you can't authenticate with the master server in time and gives you those problems.
Get your connection fixed, until then you're basically screwed.

Ya, I was looking at the server list and the lowest ping I saw was 699 but before I switched internet providers the pings were normally below 100 so I think you are right.
