Author Topic: Way to scare the piss outta me  (Read 580 times)

So I'm in my hotel room Skyping and stuff when all of a sudden I see a fire alarm flashing in the hallway and a really quiet alarm. I dismiss it until I see an ambulance out the window. Then, my mom starts calling me and hanging up. She then answers and yells "William!" I say "WHAT, WHAT" and I can hear her quietly say "I think we can get out this way!" then hangs up. I'm scared as stuff. Then my aunt calls me and says, "William are you there? Evacuate the room go down the stairs a man will be waiting for you" then hangs up. I loving dash out of the room and follow the guy downstairs to see my Mom crying. I'm loving ready to explode when all of a sudden some guy yells out, "it's just a false alarm!". Then my mom yells at me for not responding to her calls even though she kept hanging up, and that I couldn't hear the alarm. Well, I'm 12 stories above the alarm, so NO, I couldn't hear it. Audjoiffifj I hate today

the manager must of been bored

Wow, thats forgeted up.

Side note, do you live in the hotel or are you staying there?

At the hotel I stayed at, they announced over the intercom before having a fire drill

Since when are Hotels like schools? :|

I hate it when places don't warn you about fire drills
My school doesn't warn fire drills. The alarm goes off and we evacuate to the nearest exit and walk outside. Sometimes we are unsure if its real because the conditions outside sometimes are terrible and not idea for a drill.

Why would you even go downstairs

You're stronger than a pusillanimous individual fire

why are you in a separate room?

Well they are required to test the alarm system.  Whether that means setting off the alarm, or testing to see if they are active they have to.  So to not alarm those staying at the hotel, they normally inform others before setting them off.

Also most schools do not inform students that there is a fire drill occurring (unless they are special needs, or anxious)
