Anyway, google is trying to defend free interwebs. So.. add your voice and stuff.

you are seriously loving late, and it isn't just the creators of sopa.

The meeting that determined whether or not the internet would be restricted was done on December 3, and it was a lot of the world's governments. Not just America's.

I understood that, just...
why the forget do all these governaments try to do that
some of them even do it SEVERAL times
Holy forget.

You wanna know what else is forgeted up?

The fact that any moment in time (If you're American) the government can beat you, interrogate you, and kill you if you are a suspected terrorist.

That totally doesn't infringe on the constitution or anything.

That totally doesn't infringe on the constitution or anything.
Now days the constitution is to just keep you warm and happy. It doesn't mean anything to the Feds for anyone anymore. It's all about control.

As opposed to what they are trying to do as I am, I will say that they have justification. People create digital content, hard work and time, and then it is easily circumvented. However, the only way to combat this is to be overprotective, because you can't be right on the line without holes being poked far too easily. So this stuff happens. And a balance really can't be found. :panda:

I just hate most politicians because they take away rights, period. You saw the Republican party come around with the Patriot Act under Bush, we saw Obama resign it now under the Democratic party, and then this whole NDAA mess came along, all for the sake of "improving national security?" I don't want the federal government to have the ability to use the goddamn military to "suppress" "disruptive" citizens. Hell, we barely have the right to express ourselves in public.

I was wearing a hockey jersey to school, a replica of a '72 Russian Olympics jersey. As such, it said "CCCP" across the front. I was called down to the dean's office, told that my shirt was "disruptive" to the staff members and was "spreading communist sentiments." I was given a two day in school suspension for wearing a goddamn hockey jersey.

The other day, I was at a book store trying to buy a copy of Mein Kampf and the woman behind the counter said "those are not for sale." What the hell, there's 15 of them on the goddamn shelf, how are they not for sale?
Society is really forgeted up today.

Holy jesus wow, rockslide. That's surprising :o

I wear my Ephixa shirt (A penguin with an AK-47) around at school and nobody seems to mind.
