The Story:
Long, long ago, when the planet was still forming, 8 great crystals were formed with it. They corresponded to 8 elements: Fire, Thunder, Earth, Ice, Water, Air, Light, and Dark. Block-kind later found 7 of the 8 and hid them away to prevent evil from getting to them. These crystals were very powerful if used in the right hands, and one could become to the most powerful person on the planet if they were to have even one. This, of course, requires a great magician with a strong heart and mind, as well as a mastery in that element already. Many years later, the great and terrible dark wizard and necromancer, Noxion, has found the last crystal: The Onyx of Darkness. Being a dark wizard already, he was able to harness the crystal to its full potential and take over the lands. Someone needs to stop him!
The Characters:

Tholannan "Tom" Shieldheart
A heroic fighter, born in the city and trained in tackling and swordsplay. First character unlocked. Max HP starts at 20, max PP starts at 10. Both Tackle and Slice do 1-4 damage depending on the action command success. Both consume 0 PP. Think of him like Mario, in a way.
That's it for now! As we progress, you can submit characters to add into the series. I'll need the full name, nickname, starting HP and PP, class and profession, attacks, a brief description of their personality, and finally an avatar for them.
The Overworld:
Most of the time we will be in the overworld, where we navigate and solve puzzles and such, however, if we get in a fight with an enemy, we enter the battle screen. The overworld's pictures will be regular Blockland screenshots to show the game. You can suggest commands to follow.
Battle System:
The battle system is a standard turn-by-turn RPG battle system. At first, you only get 1 attack per turn, but this can be upgraded. When on the overworld, make sure to attempt a first strike! This lets you chip in some damage before the fight starts. You must specify you want to first strike an enemy with tackle or slice, or else a regular battle will be entered. Enemies can also first strike you if you don't pay attention. There are 3 types of move: Regular, Crystal, and Item. You can also spend a turn to switch partners, charge Crystal Power, or defend. Regular attacks can be used in one of two ways: either spend PP to use an attack, or use attack tickets. These are commonly found on the overworld and are a lot like items. You can store an unlimited amount per attack, and allow you to use an attack without having to spend PP. The attack's tickets will decrease by one when used. PP is like stamina and mana combined, so use it wisely. Tickets can use the move no matter what, but you must unlock the move to use PP on it. Moves may be unlocked either with badges or just normally. Now,w here's where the real fun lies: action commands! Depending on the time between the previous update and the attack, you can get an OK (failed the action command), NICE (barely pulled off the action command), GOOD (managed to get the timing fairly well), GREAT (was able to get the action command pretty amazingly!) and EXCELLENT (got the timing practically perfect.) These modify the amount of damage the attack does. Some attacks may be a multiplier, while some may just add damage. Wait and see! Oh, and one last thing; sooner doesn't always = better, but usually it does. For example, with tackle, you want to reply IMMEDIATELY, but for slice, you'll want to wait about 2 minutes (which is really about 2 seconds RP-wise) to charge. You can also get random CRITICAL HITS (2x damage) and MISSES (no damage.) Some enemies have weaknesses and resistances, which guarantees a crit or a miss. Other than that, pretty standard. there's defense, go to 0 HP and you lose, Crystal powers use a special kind of power that is hard to get but powerful, etc.
SPECIAL ITEMS:
Equips: Find these on the field! Hidden in secret (or not-so-secret) places, these can do many things. They can prevent status ailments, stop enemy first strikes, make you resistant to fire, unlock a move, and much more. They require EP to wear, unless they're purely cosmetic or the like.
Quartz: These shiny rocks are littered throughout the overworld, and they're pretty hard to find, despite being not altogether rare. Hey, actually, I heard there are a couple quartz collectors that wouldn't mind giving you a Life Crystal or shiny equip in exchange for a few of them.
Xperience Stone: When you level up after a battle, you can get one of these, an XP Stone. Take a few to a skilled archeomagician to get...
Life/Power/Equip Crystals: These crystals are special. I mean, quartz is cool and all, but it's not magical. These, however, are. They can upgrade HP, PP, and EP. You can also find them around the world.
ITEMS AND ATTACKS:
These are to be discovered. Find them through-out the world!
