aren't they like.. addicting?

Butterfly knives are some of the queerest things ever.

Everything you said is loving stupid.

wow coming from someone who fights with brass-loving-knuckles you really must know a lot about what a "queer" weapon is, especially considering butterfly knives are banned in every state except Texas! Gee willikers! Please. Consider what he's talking about.

I can easily pull out a Kubaton and have it ready in 1/4 the time it takes #Elecro to figure out how to properly open up his wannabe-butterfly-knife-pen. And though personally I've never had a need to try and jab at someone with an aluminum pen, I can imagine that you're A) better off with a gun, B) better off with a knife, or C) better off running the forget away.
In a tight space, yeah, Kubaton and MAYBE a BaliYo could work, but even then, to deal the max ammount of hurt, you'd have to hit all the right spots. With a knife, you have the versatility of going at them from almost any direction you can get the blade; lunge, stab, slice, hell some knives are good for parrying another knife.

If I had the choice between my pocket knife and a Kubaton, I would pick my knife.

But, eh. That's just my opinion I guess. Maybe I'm spewing crap and I have no idea what I'm talking about.

are those just like, pens for jabbing pressure points?

In the time it takes you to open that stuff forget pen to stab me, I'd have punched you to death cause I'm a big strong tough guy

dude, what the forget? I didn't buy this for self defense. I bought it for the fun of flipping it around.

>In arizona
>Has owned 2 butterfly knives

Also, those people who point out  that this would be no good for self defense, no stuff, it's a pen.

no they're not

no they're not
I'm partially wrong. This was my reference.

Personally, I own a gravity knife. There is no mention of said knife nor it's function, but it's the same concept. Until someone sprees with one, it's legal 'technically'

Kubatons are completely and utterly useless. I know this because I have owned several and they don't hurt at all unless you hit precisely in the pressure point. Actually, all weapons would be useless. You're not ever going to be attacked by an unarmed guy asking for your wallet. More than not, it's a guy with a gun pointed at your forehead demanding your wallet, and if you pulled out some piece of metal, knife, or unloaded gun you'd have your brains blown out.
