Knew it, there's always people who automatically assume that even going near alcohol is like the most ultimate form of evil or something.
"and had our own beer"  Yep, going near.  Also once again, you, master of assumptions have jumped to the conclusion that I think alcohol is the root of all evil.  But really, what point does the OP have in posting a story of him being asked to leave a party he was most likely too young to legally be at?

1. That's what people do on New Year's, they party. Although some people might have different ways of doing it every does in some way.
2. I'm sharing my experience on that night, and requesting to hear other's.
3. The majority of people that go to such parties are almost always under the legal drinking age. It's what a lot of people do. The age requirement in the U.S. is a bit absurd anyways when you consider that most other countries have at least 3 years shaved off of it.

I honestly think you're autistic or extremely socially awkward if you don't understand those three things, and why someone would, God forbid, try to spark a conversation on how other people's New Year's went.

Hate to break it to you but alcohol is terrible for you and bragging about drinking it while under age makes you the autistic one here.  It's also illegal

do people here not realize underage drinking is normal?
and no, alcohol is not terrible for you. as long as you're not an idiot.

Wonder why our drinking age is so high?  Look at the guy swinging beer bottles at you.  Something about self control or something.

If "everybody" is doing it, it must be legal!  Also I can tell you intended this topic for everyone's stories, as it's called "new year's eve drama" I didn't know that drama was a normal part of the new year experience, I must be autistic!  Oh, and forget you.
