Look, you've got two options:

• Save yourself stress and instead suffer from a bit of nervousness and ask for an extension.  Provide proof that your save file is corrupt and cannot be opened.  Calmly, and apologetically explain what happened to your project.  If you're nice, calm and polite, and your teacher isn't an starfish, they'll likely give an extension.
• Do it all over again.
