The reason why people hate EA is not because their games suck, its because the way they hand them to you sucks (This includes a game getting released every year folks).
For example, in what other business can a chef advertise that they are selling a cake, but when they sell it to you the box only has a half of a cake in it? EA can. Here is how it would work in a bakery:
A chef sells you a 20$ cake. You find out that you only got half of a cake in the box. The chef tells you that if you pay him 15$ he will give you a key to the box so you can get one quarter of the cake that you were supposed to get a full piece of. Later the chef will sell you the last quarter for 25$. Then the chef says that all the money you wasted on that cake is worth stuff now, because the cake is free and anyone can take a bite out of it, but only the ones who will pay for the chef every month will have chocolate pudding on it. You join this stupid subscription thingy because you're a basic EA fanboy drone stuffhead whateverer, and notice that the chef is going to make another big cake that will cost the same amount, but the whole new cake is just the same cake as the older one, but it just has a bit more chocolate sprinkles in it. This same "new cool cake" is going to be released every year for the next millenium with just more chocolate sprinkles on it. Now this chef is going to buy out all the other bakeries to make sure that you can't buy any other quality cakes from anywhere else, so if you want to eat cake at all you always have to buy from that stuffhead chef who totally ripped you off. Then again there are other bakeries who don't sell out as easily as the others that make quality titles but are losing the competition and in the end, end up going bankrupt. To make sure that no one buys the cakes from the other bakeries, the richardwipe chef bribes the reviewers of cakes to give their cakes 5 star reviews and to all other companies 3 star reviews.
