how the forget do you guys manage to build a computer, i never understood that.

Exactly, when in doubt visit a YouTube howto or find an image diagram.

Its a lot of common sense too, the connectors are usually impossible to mix. Just as long as you apply the right force when plugging / removing things, and handle the hardware properly, you'll be fine.

Everyone is still excused for the cringe moment as you turn it on for the first time though.  :cookieMonster:

I had a machine that ran BL with only 300 MBs of RAM, a SiS graphics chip, and 1 GHZ processor.  It stopped working after we got a launcher.

well its an emachines tower built for windows vista that has windows 7 on it currently

a sticker says intel celeron dual-core inside

It literally snaps together, if you can put a puzzle together you can build a computer.

They don't. They buy the parts then consult a manual closely.
You say it like that's the wrong way or something.

I get 10-15 FPS average on this craptop with all my settings on minimum/off. It's pathetic.
And any weapons server is virtually unplayable because there's no way not render shell casing debris clientsided (as in, I can't disable the spent shells that fly out of guns on my client).
Stupid Intel Integrated GPU.
