Hey people. Is there any way to check if a function exists for %whatever.doThis(); ?

Returns 1 if the function name exists, 0 otherwise.
If namespace is specified, it must also be defined within this namespace to exist.

It's more than that. You can check just %whatever if it has a specific function instead of explicitly checking if its class has it.
