Why is my WiFi signal so bad in my house?

i've had my router for around 1 year and a half, maybe less, and i get horrible connection to everything

my router is literally 3 feet away from my pc

yeah, mines a 2wire and theres another 2wire in range

change your wireless channel from 6 to something like 1, 3, or 11.

are there other networks around you on the same channel? you could be receiving interference from those
