Author Topic: Just watched Anime for my first time  (Read 3908 times)

anybody watch Blue Gender?
All I know it was by the same guy who did Armored Trooper Votoms, Gasaraki, and Dougram.

i would not classify boondocks as anime, more as "horrid garbage for which i would spend years and years studying so i could become a scientist, invent a time machine, go back in time and brutally murder the person who made boondocks so it will never have existed"

also, watch one piece

what the forget is this, this post is like Max Payne where it starts at the end.

e.g. the description of Boondocks is the crashed helicopter and "One Piece" is the part where Max Payne goes apestuff and gets revenge for his family and shoots down the helicopter.

Oh also Death Note. It's kind of like the most awesome detective case ever that never stops developing until a ton of crazy stuff happens and then it ends.
This and Pokemonnn.

Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

OP, watch some one piece. You will be hooked. Or read it if you want, I heard the manga was great too.

The style imo. Also, animes seem to just go deeper than a cartoon. Many have amazing plots and stories too.

I have a blood-filled hate for the art style.

Hetalia is the only anime I can stand and surprisingly enough I like the way their chars are drawn

Code Geass is a good Anime.

BRIAN NO

DON'T GIVE IN

It's a bad track, Brian. You gotsta get outta there 'fore it gets too late.

I seen it all, Brian. I seen it all.

First you enjoy it.

Then you become obsessed over it.

Then Square Enix gets wind of it, and then they make Final Fantasy XIV II! You don't wanna live in that world, Brian, you do not wanna live in that world!

the last anime i watched before i became a better person was ore no imouto; 'sgood

black dynamite and DRAGON BALL Z

DRAGON BALL Z > ALL OTHER ANIME

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB1KZueNQsY idk looks like it to me

either way it's hilarious

that's not even an anime... is it?
the television show is somewhat anime-styled

btw i really don't see the significance of 'anime' anymore outside of denoting a certain art style. place of origin can't be associated with it due to things apparently considered 'anime' that weren't made in japan so

i mean, i don't see how you can group them outside that. other than the art style, they're just like any other cartoons. they don't all share the same plot elements and they aren't all actually identical in any way other than the art.
