Overclocked mah CPU

So I just thought I wanted to let you guys know I overclocked my AMD Phenom II x4 965 'Deneb' BE from 3.4 Ghz to 4.0 Ghz and it's running normally at 40c

Noticeably +20 FPS in Minecraft and about 15 in BL. Also, startup is super fast.

I have that same processor and can run any game I have at pretty much max settings without seeing performance problems, I just feel like overclocking is a somewhat risky thing to do considering that there is not a ton more performance to get out of it.  I think that if you had an older processor that was barely running games on low, overclocking might be a decent option, but otherwise why.
