Killing zombies gives points. With points, you can buy weapons.

Either that or with a map, you can have certain spots of the map "upgradable", where you can spend the team's score pool to buy upgrades to your survivor base.

AKA 25 points for a floor addition, 10 points for fencing.
man u need to come back to stema

This system is always a failure in a multi player game. Unless you have rounds where everyone resets, people new on the server will be mixed with the people who spent the last 4 hours getting the best weapons in turn making the game much less enjoyable and hard.

How could I gain any points with a pistol if the guy next to me has a full-auto shotgun?

I advise scrapping the leveling/point system.

Don't get me wrong. A point system would be amazing with a small group or single player.
However a small group would have to start the round at the same time.

I could see a good single player story mode from this..

I originally started making one a while ago but the project was scrapped.

This is pretty neat, might inspire me to remake my zombie SP story mode.

I got bored so I coded waves because alphadin asked me for the mod so he could code a mod with waves in it.

what do with Leveling up System?

This is fun but it gets a little repetitive. The zombies are only so intelligent, they can't get to me when I'm on top of the church or something. The closest thing to a sniper is the revolver, so I kinda wish there was a long barreled rifle, but I guess that would defeat the purpose of leveling.

On the other hand, leveling could upgrade the guns?

Level 1 sniper: nothing
Level 2 sniper: iron sights
Level 3 sniper: ACOG scope
Level 4 sniper: silencer
Level 5 sniper: new bolt for faster rotation/more power to the bullet AKA higher ROF / DMG
Level 6 sniper: zoomed scope

Just a thought, that might be hard, I wouldn't know. But it's kinda similar to bushido's sentries in a way... Idk.

Im not even going to loving respond

Looks fun, I'll visit if I see it up.

Brian, what are your thoughts on alternate infected: zombies that act differently than normal. (Not like special infected from L4D)

I'm talking about crawlers, bigger/faster, smaller/slower zombies. I've always wanted to see a zombie crawler in Blockland. It would be a normal zombie at half health but with no pants and feet models with its body slightly propped up on its hands. It would crawl in intervals with the arm flail animation.
There could also be headless zombies that have abnormally high health but ate much slower. I don't know, just some zombie variants. Nothing too too drastic.

However, if you think some special infected could have a place in a wave mode or something, I would love to see that.

what makes your zombies better than the other mod?
