Hard choice between iPad mini or FL studio 10

So, I'm saving for FL studio 10 (which is $100) and I have to get the iPad mini for doing some school stuff (I can't bring my laptop everywhere) So now I'm stuck with either getting the iPad mini or FL Studio 10. I realllyy do want to continue in my EDM producing, however I also want to continue with school lol.

If either of these were below $100 I'd be like "Okay, sure it's not that much money, I can get both within a month" but they are prettttty expensive.

So I need some help deciding.

Also, the iPad isn't required for school silly heads, I'd rather buy a $350 ipad that has a camera / picture editor than taking my laptop and a camera around.

It's not required, however it will be useful next year, and of course I can't throw $350 out at once. (I'll be taking a Picture editing / Photography thing, just know it involves a camera and the Teacher uses an iPad for most of his teaching and he would like us to have one to follow along with him, normal cameras are allowed but I don't wanna break my moms $700 Camera lol)

kindle fires are pretty much the same

they probably won't have a lot of the same apps available, but they'll have a lot of the same popular ones

OT: get an iPad, since I'm assuming that you already have a DAW of some sort, and you could install some controller app on your iPad as well.

I would take an e-reader over an ipad any day.
in fact, if you gave me a free ipad for no reason, i'd sell it immediately

I don't have one, I use the FL Studio 10 demo lol

Get SunVox ffs

You're able to use it on your iPad mini and your PC. Solar Lune (on YouTube) has some SunVox tutorials.
