do not rate im just posting this, me and wagger are starting on a Space Shuttle its only small atm but itll become huge! 
ignore the platform on the ref pic its just so i could make the start of the Booster =P DONT RATE YET

Except for minor discrepancies like the booster pods attached and the man liquid fuel tank still attached in space.

if you can tell me how i find out where the hell it loads when i load a bedroom save to slate i will

Earth Orbit is in the maps section, search for it.

And things loaded into Slate/Earth Orbit from Bedroom are always floating high in the sky, unless you built in the grass (the terrain), but it's still kinda high.

You could use the Save Mover, or perhaps the Duplicator (again, search for either of those) to get out of the air and get it to the ground.

i think its fine on slate or bedroom, but you should move it to that grass version of slate. (flat land <somthing>, i don't remember what it is) earth orbet wiouldn't make sense. it would be in space with booster engines.
