Author Topic: Save Crash  (Read 608 times)

I don't know if anyone else has been having this issue, but most of the time it doesn't happen, but like Murphy's law, when I work on something and get a lot done, it does. I'll save, and then it'll do about halfway, then it will say Blockland.exe is not responding, then I'll crash. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I wasn't able to get a console log but next time it happens I'll hogtie it and bring it here. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Just post the console log of it anyway.

If you have Brick_LongRangeMusic or Brick_ShortRangeMusic, make sure that you download the latest version of them. Earlier versions of these caused crashes, but this issue has been fixed in a recent update. I recommend that you download the updated versions of these files here:

Uxie was doing some duplicator stuff, I reloaded my save, then I wanted to save it after some work, then it crashed. It didn't do anything in the console that looked fishy.

The console log is too big to post, so I don't know what to do.

dont write it out, just attach it to your message by clicking the "additional options" button at the bottom when you are posting a message, and click "choose file" now find your console log and upload it

Did you try this? I can almost guarantee it's the problem.

Well, I did some recollection and I figure, I downloaded those food bricks that were released a few weeks ago now. Since I had those it did that, I disabled them, deleted and it kinda stopped now. We'll wait and see. I never used those long range bricks that much so I just tossed those too. I guess we'll see what happens.

I checked the file CRCs and you are using an outdating version of Brick_ShortRangeMusic. The old version of Short Range Music Bricks caused people to crash when they saved. You need to download the latest version of them or get rid of them.
