my computer is in the living room, i am on it all day and i watch the most offensive videos, follow the most awkward anime series, play the strangest games, listen to the weirdest music and everyone else is always in the living room as well. why is it such a problem for others to hear what you are doing?

it would be slightly less bad if my mom didn't comment on what i'm doing/ask what i'm looking at :/

EDIT: yeah right now i was trying to watch(or rather listen to) a video but then i had to stop because the tv's on and my mom's shredding paper so i can't hear anything :I
