Author Topic: ISF Heavy Assault Vehicle [HAV]  (Read 1078 times)

I got bored so I decided to head to ARES spacebuild server and after I saw Qwepir's Vehicles, I wanted to make my own. Currently, The vehicles are unmanned and act as drones but eventually I will add a roosterpit for the driver as well as a few slots for extra gunners.

I know the tracks look a little odd from the side and TBH I don't really know how I would go about making it look better but here are the key features to it:

-If you notice it has 2 more empty spots on top. This is where extra modules can be placed for either offensive or defensive purposes.

-The turret on top is also a module. Currently, That is a 120GJ Compressed Railgun (with real sounds!) Great for anti-vehicle/structure but useless againt enemy personnel due to the slow tracking.

-You can add multiple modules and different turrets to the HAV for strategic purposes. There are Blasters, Railguns, Artillery, Auto-cannon, And Missile turrets.  Or for modules, you can add: shield Hardeners Armor plates, ECM Rigs, small turrets (for extra gunners), and etc. Possibilities are endless for what you can do for it and I plan on adding more HAVs later on.

Feel free to rate and Constructive Criticism is GREATLY appreciated to help make it look better.

Very nice, it really does fit with your ship's general theme :D

Thanks :D but the sides bother me the more i stare at it so i'm going to do a re-dub on the tracks lol

Forget what i said about Qwepir's vehicles.
This is 1000% more devastating then his puny vehicles.

Only thing I dont like about it is that it appears you have to stand on the back of the tank to actually operate it

nah that was just for eventing the turret. Eventually i will take that off and it's going to be manned from the inside. I just forgot to take it out :P

I think it's way too flat, and the turret is mounted way too far away from the hull. Tracks are weird, it doesn't need four. It also appears to be entirely unmanned, considering you would have to be laying down to fit in it.

Uh, unmanned is sort of the concept of 'drones'.

Hm, it still has a really weird turret mount.
