Someone at my school died today.

A guy from a school next to mine (that a lot of us know) did acid and jumped off a balcony yesterday and either died or became a vegetable I can't remember which.
It's bad stuff.

I kind of feel sorry for those three kids..
I mean, yeah it was dumb of them to be street racing, but they're just kids. They have their whole lives ahead of them and now it's going to be messed up by the fact that they'll have the guilt and regret of that girl's death on them for their entire lives. I've met one girl who killed a man in a car accident when she was just learning how to drive and it really caused her some emotional damage.

I don't feel sorry for those responsible, it was completely and entirely their fault. What if they had killed someone else?

I never said it wasn't their fault. But that's why I feel sorry for them, because they probably know that and they're going to feel the guilt from it for the rest of their lives. How would you feel at like- 50 years old to be emotionally scarred for life because you did something stupid as a kid that killed someone?
