Vacation : Las Vegas
Updates

Within this post I will tell about the things that happen on my 3-day vacation here in Las Vegas. I will update this as things happen.

Fly In:
[9:45 PM]
I sit in an airport terminal at 9:00 PM until we board at 10:30 PM, and take off at 11. I feel very drowsy, and my body is off its clock because of the Chocolate syrup/Caramel Syrup swirl whipped creamed frappuccino beside me.
When we start to board, I get to sit in the same row as the rest of my family, so that keeps my content. I start to play Binding of Isaac on my computer when we have taken off and it was announced that it was safe to use electronic devices. The whole fly went by like 15 minutes, but was actually an hour and a half.
When we land, I get out in the Las Vegas terminal. I am surprised that even in the airports, they have slot machines left and right. Seriously, you couldn't walk for 2 minutes without running into a slot machine.
I take the tram to the baggage claim and walk ALL the way over to our reel of luggage, and pull it out. We then roll our belongings down to where the signs say the rental cars are. They are all gone, so we have to take a cab to the nearest rental car place in a nearby plaza. I then sit around for about 20 minutes waiting for my dad to work out some paperwork with the car insurance person. When we have our car, we drive it over to the resort we are staying at(shall remain nameless).

The Arrival:
[1:00 AM]
As we drive towards our resort hotel, we remember we need to grab groceries to replenish our hunger over the vacation. We go over to the nearest grocery store that is conveniently right by our hotel, and grab a bunch of snacks, cereal, milk, and diet coke.
We then finally get back over to the resort hotel. We are not sure where to park, so we park out front for the time being, and go to check in to the lobby. My dad was told by the man behind the desk that our reservations were not found in his book. After half an hour of endlessly waiting in the lobby as my dad works it out, we finally get our room key, and park out back of our building. We then had to wearily drag our baggage and groceries up to our room, which was conveniently at the top floor, all the way down the hall. When we get in, we finally get to put away the groceries, stow our luggage, and get the sleep we had been deprived of.

Morning 1
(8:00 AM)
I woke up at about 8:00ish(late for me) and read my book, The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper until about 9:30. For the next half hour, I just played more Binding of Isaac(the only game I have that doesn't need internet connection). My father wakes up at 10:00, and helps me find a few things to help me find internet cables and stuff. Then, to get him coffee, I run out to the cafe in the pouring rain, although I am happy to do it. That's all that really happened that morning...

[TO BE CONTINUED]

Sounds like you aren't in Vegas for gambling, strippers and cocaine.

The "what happens in vegas" rule doesn't seem to apply here.

BTW guys, pics will be coming of the view and some places in the hotel.

word choice makes this story hard to read

That's awesome. I love vacation, no matter where I'm going. California was the best though.

best cab ride ever. It was at night and from the airport so we got to see all the mountains and lights on them. it was sweet. also, don't you just love hotel rooms, and airports?

hotels and airports are da best
