I don't feel like explaining my reason, but I just want to know if it's safe. I don't want my blood to completely drain from my finger without knowing the cautions or anything. Also i'm using my sister's GIMP string.

Just tie a slip knot so if it starts to hurt or turns purple, you can release it quickly.
