Need help with explaining Python Code

So I have copied code for a client script right here:

tcpCliSock = socket(AF_INET, SOCK_STREAM)
tcpCliSock.connect(ADDR)

while 1:
    data = raw_input('> ')
    if not data: break
    tcpCliSock.send(data)
    data = tcpCliSock.recv(BUFSIZE)
    if not data: break
    print data

tcpCliSock.close()

Can anybody explain this code to me? I need to fix a problem with it.
