I've finally learned how to use Ableton, and whipped this up.

Optic (WIP)

Again, SoundCloud butchered the sound quality, but hopefully not as much as my previous music.

You are encouraged to rate and/or critique. Keep in mind that mastering was messed up by SC and it is in general a WIP.

I exported this at 192000 bps and 32 bits, which takes up 275 MB on my hard drive. And I doubt any of you will be able to hear the audio quality at anywhere near lossless.

i think the main reason this sounds so ridiculously empty is that the drums have literally no strength

both the kick and the snare should be louder, the kick should be EQ'd more on the low end, and the snare should probably have some reverb added to it.

and maybe it's just me, but i think the tempo is too slow. try upping it to 128 BPM?

it definitely needs a sub bass, perhaps not in the intro, but around when the wubs start kicking in.
