Rant about these Roblox-styled 'tycoons' and why it's a BAD IDEA

I remember this one tycoon on Roblox which was actually pretty decent. It was a mixed with TDM. Basically you had your normal tycoon thing then you had a TDM area. Your tycoon would increase say the shooting speed, damage, accuracy etc of your gun.

Not your call bro, host it yourself. If I wanna host a love RP, then by golly I'm gonna host just that. Same applies to a tycoon. You want a complicated tycoon with tons of variables, premodeled buildings, etc; you go ahead.

There are like 3 tycoons in development, and they aren't hurting anything. If anything, it's something new for blockland. You don't NEED to play on their server.

of course i'm not going to play on those servers, but for some reason when i see "tycoon" i get really excited for some reason(probably because roller coaster tycoon 2 is pretty much my favorite game).
although it makes me disappointed when it turns out to be the blue ball machine stuff or w/e

If you want something like that, then make a request for THAT, don't talk stuff about something else just because you don't like it. Plenty of people don't like mini empires. Personally, I love them. At the same time, I don't like knife fights. You don't see me ranting about them., which would probably be more beneficial than the roblox-styled tycoons. More beneficial? You're kidding right? You mean to tell me ANY of the given servers hosted at any random moment have beneficial value? No. Your tycoon idea is just as stuffty OR good as any given tycoon. This is a very vague, generalized stereotyping. "All build-it-up tycoons are crap" is like saying "all mexicans mow lawns." I'm trying to be civil about this, but hopefully you can see why this is frustrating.

Seriously. If you want something else, request it, don't talk down on other servers when there are literally 3 of it's kind. That, and making a VCE powered tycoon-type game is no easy feat. They could use anywhere from two to thousands of variables, just to allow multiplayer, and then there's all the different functions of game play that has to be considered. It's understandable that you might not enjoy them, but honestly, at this point in time; nobody is going to host your rollercoaster tycoon server. That isn't even possible currently, not even with that new train mod. Vehicle physics are too jerky, and the ability to place track using a GUI and then traverse over it just isn't something that's made within a week without being sloppy.

But good luck with that anyways.

when the hell did i ever state that i wanted a remake of just Roller Coaster Tycoon in blockland

nor did i say it should be entirely VCE built or something like that

look, what i mean by tycoons like that is having the unit-to-grid based building system with whatever theme is adaptable to a tycoon genre
you know how i said not all 'tycoons' on roblox were bad?
one of them, Pool Tycoon, was one of my favorite games on there; for the simple reason that it wasn't the 'wait and upgrade' like the others, but one where you can actually customize and build your own waterpark (or pool for that matter)
ok yeah, i could've made a suggestion of this, but this topic was mainly just to vent about those tycoons. yeah, just because I don't like theme doesn't mean they should never exist, but that's not to say i'm the only one here who decides against them.

and what i meant by 'beneficial' is that there's likely going to be more people who enjoy the non-roblox like one as opposed to the roblox-like ones. people play games to have fun, right? don't you think people would enjoy building their own waterpark (or something) rather than watching blocks move along a conveyor belt?

look if there is a boom of roblox-like tycoon servers i'm not going to kill a kitten
i think i might also make a mock-up of what the non-roblox tycoons could be like, just to help understand.

Yes. A good kind. Something I will make up. I don't copy roblox for many reasons. Its stupid how people like to copy roblox and fail. I am doing a tycoon, the thing is, roblox did not even start it. It was a game, then people on roblox copied those tycoon games. I like tycoons, but not boring ones. So I will try to make mine interesting.
