Author Topic: OnBotTouched?  (Read 538 times)

I will say up front, I do not like the new bots.  The old bots worked fine, but now that they seem incapable of moving for whatever reason, I find myself forced to use the new bots.

Anyway, one thing the new bots seem to lack is an OnBotTouched event.  Specifically, I need a way to make it so that when a player touches this bot, the player dies.  Is there any way I can do this with the new bots, or am I stuff out of luck?

Whoa, your right. There is no onBotTouched event. (although it's super easy to make)

In that case, I request that someone less incompetent than I make one.

The bots now, do exactly what the old bots did, but more. In any case, what is the reason this bot kills you? Is it a gamemode? Zombies or weapons can kill you in a minigame. Are you discarding the new bots simpley because of the missing onBotTouched event? What other reason are there? In my opinion these bots are beyond amazing! They can even detect if they are running into a brick.

How rude.

I'm using the bots as moving hazards for a challenge course.  They follow set paths and kill you if you touch them.
