If it doesn't support crossfire then disable it and you probably won't see a big difference. With both going I don't notice a difference.

does he even HAVE more then 1 gpu? if not, then the setting wont do a thing on or off.

You'll get roughly about half the performance if you turn off crossfire.

I've already stated what's in the computer so there's no need to make silly claims like that.
