I think synchtube is like the only place that did that, and they quit
they said they'd release the source tho, so whenever that happens, someone else will most likely create something like it

Watch2gether is probably the closet thing that I have find to Synchtube so far. I question if it actual plays the video for the other people when one person plays it or if you have to individually start it, but it still works fine: http://watch2gether.com/
