Author Topic: I need someone to get me certain models and textures for them  (Read 3292 times)

I have an art project coming up and it's making a game. Basically, I need custom models with textures. However, I CANNOT model and it's kinda hard to improvise. I was wondering if you guys could obtain/create models of the following:

Master Chief
Android vinyl figure
Xbox 360 controller
Xbox 360 headset
Xbox 360 game cases of Naughty Bear, Red Dead Redemption & halo 3 (separate models)
Playstation logo (thick 3d model)
Skyrim logo (thick model)
Xbox 360 logo (3d model of the sphere, not the writing)

Thing is, I need the model in the .X file format and the texture in .dds file format

I know this is pretty short notice, but if I could get them by Wednesday 27th (Preferable time) or April 9th (Deadline) that would be great. I'm sure the game cases and xbox logo would be the quickest to make.

Thanks in advance

If you own a copy of skyrim you can extract to mesh and texture of the logo, however I wouldn't recommend using it in a game that you're going to sell it, bethsoft get crazy about copyright.

Honestly though, you should just make the art yourself.

I do not own a copy. This is not being sold, it is for educational purposes only. If I had any experience with modelling, I would do it myself, I assure you.

Ah, well you could look here for models, because honestly there is only about 2 - 4 people in this community who could model something that isn't for blockland and isn't a gun.

someone did a full recreation of the Skyrim model in the model thread

go find him

Are you kidding me?

I've seen about 8+ people who can model things that aren't for a blockland player.

Including me.

Since this is for educational purposes try using the following:

thefree3dmodels.com

turbosquid.com

archive3d.net

Well I have to go now and do more work, so I'm too busy to search for myself, thats why I wanted people to either make or find models and convert them to .X and .dds files

Modeled the android figure for you since it was piss easy (the thing is literally just a bunch of cylinders)

You should be able to convert it to .x easily with Milkshape (IIRC you can export stuff with the trial if you don't already own it.) I think you can convert stuff to .dds with gimp, which is free as well.

EDIT: As for the skyrim logo, you could probably get away with using this as a sprite

EDIT 2: JUST WANNA PLAY VIDEOGAMES

Either way, it's greatly appreciated. I think I need a model for the skyrim logo, though. It doesnt have to be detailed, just the basic shape of the logo which is a bit thick. I dunno how to add sprites to the game, although it is a good idea
