Author Topic: computer got 2 blue screens in a row, also comp goes slow  (Read 898 times)

If you can't figure it out, I'd personally suggest bringing it to a professional, or just move on.

It could be:
- Malware (High chance, someone else got java backdoored recently)
- Dying hard drive (Fairly low chance even with a SSD) (SSDs die silently when their read/write limit is reached)
- Faulty RAM (Low chance)
- Corrupt OS (Very low chance unless done by malware)

Boot into safemode and tell us if it still lags.

Is (or was) your hard drive clicking or making a grinding noise?
If you want to determine whether you have faulty RAM or not, use another computer to download Memtest86, put it on a bootable USB drive, and boot into Memtest86)

If all else fails, let the other forumers help you. If that doesn't work, reinstall your OS.

I would boot into safemode, update malewarebytes and run a scan off that. Restart and run in safemode again and run an antispyware program. Also try defragging your computer.

Whats the blue screen say?

I had a blue screen once.. Now I'm on this computer.

Reformat if what the other humans say about how to fix this didn't work or made it worse.
Trust me, blue screens are a computer's first sign of cancer, Do not get it radiation tested, or it will die. That's how i lost my brother, he lived inside of a XBOX and used a MAC OSX10, He died of radiation cancer after he got his first bluescreen

(How did a XBOX MAC THING get a bluescreen I DON'T KNOW.)
(Seriously though? I recommend to put your files inside a Flash drive, and reformat, that's what I do when everything DIES.)

Get Ccleaner, it speeds up computers. Clear the registry errors, and run the cleaner.

1. Start computer in safe mode
2. Scan computer for viruses

Did you update any drivers lately?

upload the newest file in C:\Windows\Minidump to a website
