How do I keep the internet active on sleep mode?

The last time I did that with my old computer the heat sink burnt off.

you just turn off sleep mode in energy settings
i always make my screen turn off after 10 mins then simple let it sit there for the rest of the night

You're not going to be able to run the game server without the OS running as well. Hell even if for some reason Blockland was the only code ever running on the processor, no OS or other unrelated processes, your system would still need to be fully powered on.

You need to not have a stuffty computer. If your PC overheats from just leaving it on, there's something wrong with it.
