Why do so many people hate One Direction?

I know you're a troll, but yeah I don't understand why people show this much hate for music they don't like, I mean, if you show hate for music you don't like it's obvious that you secretly like it, if you were to just say, "I dislike this artist" instead of "forget THIS ARTIST HE EATS richard" I think that the world would be a better place.

But there's a difference from "I don't like this song" and "I really hate this song, please turn it off before I burn your hand with this hot spatula."

I didn't mind them till they did a horrible cover of Viva La Vida by Coldplay. And then I couldn't tolerate their existence.
