Need help with model.

Ok so I'm making a model in Milkshape and was wondering if you can make like an indent in the model and have the indent a different color.  I just downloaded this a min ago so I'm definitely new.  I need help please.

Delete area you want to be different color and add back in as seperate part. The new part can be colered seperate. Mess with bar thing on roght in color section and it makes see through.  X D
