Author Topic: Hammer compiling error  (Read 2056 times)

When I try to compile my map with Valve's Hammer editor it gives me this message:

** Executing...
** Command: Üå
** Parameters: -v -h -o c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop -t c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop\asdf.map

* Could not execute the command:
   Üå -v -h -o c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop -t c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop c:\DOCUME~1\kasutaja\desktop\asdf.map
* Windows gave the error message:
   "Access is denied."

Quote
"Access is denied."

Are you on Windows Vista? if so you need to be admin or run the program in admin mode.

If not then I don't know. :(

I'm getting the same error and completely forget how to fix it.

I realise our errors now. Neither of us set our CSG Executable.

You need to press Tools > Options and point CSG Executable to your map2dif executable.

New errors:

"Error, the map file must have a .MAP extension."
"Failed to open "main.cs"."
"Failed to initialize game, shutting down."

This happens when I try to compile my map.
Help me please!
