: The Community Driven Video Game
Darnren was a once honorable man of the Skyknight legion. The corrurpted Skynights began extorting the local townspeople through religious persecution, and Darnren refused to partake in these activities. Exiled from his post, and left to die in the outskits of the Skyknight realms, Darnren must take justice into his own hands. He will seek vengeance, and doesn't care what beast may stand in his way.

This is Darnren. He sports a worn cobalt garb with an unshakable foundation. His solemn eyes and clenched fists advertise his strong will.

These are the weapons. The top row indicates the weapon icon, and the four frames below it are the projectiles that they produce. You are able to fire in NSWE directions.

This land has no name. It also needs landmarks! That's where you come in. First come first serve, please decorate it nicely :)

I want to make a community driven video game with only a few given constraints.

Please make sprites that will match the current theme! That is imperative to good game aesthetics!

The game must be:
Midieval Fantasy. Lasers? Sure. Demons? Yes. DESTROYING BEASTS? YES.
Sidescroller. This game will pay homage to old arcade scroller/platformers with a mix of adventure wrapped inside.
Made entirely by us. No using copyrighted sprites, or sprites that you didn't make.

I hope for this to be an amazing project, made entirely by the Blockland community!

This looks really promising.  I have cfxr, so I can make some 8-bit sounds as well.  Is that okay?

Also, would you require any music for this game?

But of course! :) Every great game has music~

Does the music have to be 8-bit, or are you going for the older Runescape-sound-model where the music was entirely above the quality of the sounds?

I am not entirely sure where I want to go with it. It will purely depend on the gameplay

Just let me know when the need arises.
