Anybody know of a good, afforable tablet?

so i've always drawn with a pencil and paper and even though i love it, i really want to get into different mediums and start doing digital art

i used to have a nice wacom tablet but my sister took it to college so i need a new one, but i don't have a lot of money.

what should i get that's affordable, but is also useful and works well? thanks.

I've been using the iPad for years. I get the new one every time a new one comes out. I'm not sure about art programs on it though. I'm sure there's plenty.
