Author Topic: Improved lighting on Intel Graphics card  (Read 940 times)

Hello Blockland forums. Today I have something exciting for those of you who want shaders but have an intel graphics card. While this won't give you the shadows, you get improved dynamic lighting, which in my opinion, definitely makes the game loveier. This improved lighting works because of a new intel graphics driver update. All you have to do is follow the steps at http://www.blockland.us/driverUpdate/index.html, the tutorial on how to update your drivers from the one and only beloved Blockland. Restart your computer if it does not tell you to once complete, and then start up Blockland. Set your shaders to minimal then. Anything past minimal won't work and the game will go back to being shader-less. If this works for you, enjoy your improved lighting, because it's the best you're going to get until you buy a computer without an intel graphics card.

I don't think that Intel released anything lately, it's just that you just noticed your drivers were out of date.

buy a computer without an intel graphics card.

or just a graphics card, intel only do intergrated

Shaders have worked on my intel laptop since the the bringing in of shaders and shadows
it's just that you just noticed your drivers were out of date.

Doesn't mean you can run it any better. Intel HD series is still horsestuff.

So... Your drivers were just out of date?

Intel works fine for me!
Stop blaming it on Intel!
your drivers were out of date

I noticed this yesterday when I was messing with lighting on my server.
