This idea is based around the seemingly simple concept of a civil war fortress, but with some more elaborated things added into it, and I will go into these in this OP here. First of all I'd like to acknowledge Tokerovin for giving me the inspiration to complete this, though his base is more of a modern military base or a base from later years like World War II's age, and this is in a completely different time-set, so I'm going to kinda go off of a few simple concepts here. First of all, I'd like the main exterior to be based off of a simple wood-and-brick concept, as if we were actually in the Civil War.
Second of all, smaller fortresses would have to be established outside of the original and main base, which I'm going to call Fort Alexander after my middle name, so that we can create and order around a communications centre which would reach other fortresses and make sure there were no invasions of opposite armies, which would happen occasionally, but strategically, so that the people involved in the fortresses of enemies would not risk losing too many men in the battle, or causing too much damage to rile up the enemies so that revenge would be sweeter than it typically would.
Third, we would have to set up rooms and little buildings. The essentials would entail building rooms like a Communications room, Cabins for people, a Toiletrie (or we would just use the trench, haven't worked that out yet), a cafeteria and other things. The room essentials are figured out for the most part, but we'd need ideas from other people, so PM me or comment in the thread if you're interested, because I would need a lot of people to help me with this idea and the ideas that entail.
So there's a lot of things that need to be done, like the muskets and such, but we'll figure those out eventually.
P.S. that reminds me. We'd need a canoe place. So we can dock and then invade if we want to. And we'd need fire bricks, since it's wood. We'd need weather, too, but that will come later. So let's figure this all out as we go along .
