Author Topic: World war Z: The Movie Damn you Hollywood!  (Read 1141 times)

Apparently, the movie was originally going to have The Lobo in it, but it was only used in one specific scene.
The article ending also explains why Matthew Fox was cast for such a small role.

Article: (Might have MAJOR spoilers about the movie, be weary. I wouldn't reccomend reading if you havent seen the movie yet.)

Either way, i still think the movie would be bad. A "band of brothers" style TV series, with each episode retelling a story would be way better though.

Oh come on that ending sounded sweet. A total 2+ hours added on it too.

World War Z the movie was good imo.

I didn't really read the book, though.
That's probably why you enjoyed it.

Read the book but not seen the movie. It's showing everywhere here in LA.

man I love that book
you have no idea how upset I was when I found out how different it was
ugh
but I mean tbh it would be hard to make a good movie out of a book like that
aircraft munitions like Cluster bombs and MOABs have no effect on zombies
whoever told you that was exaggerating

Saw the movie yesterday. The main character talks about his family too much (makes sense, still kind of sappy though) but other than that I thought it was pretty darn good. It was super suspenseful in some parts.

Max Brooks wrote it right? He also wrote the Zombie Survival Guide.

Yup, son of Mel Brooks.

Really? You'd think it would be funnier than it is though.
