Hello,
how do I make a map pitch dark with enviorment settings?
I want to make it so you must use a light to see.
All help is appreciated. Please help. Thanks!

direct light 0 0 0 ambient light 0 0 0 shadow light 0 0 0

Ah, thanks, I'll test it out right now.
I still can see stuff though.

If you don't have shaders enabled, you might see some textures glow in the dark

but on pecon7's imscared server, everything was pitch dark, and I didn't enable shaders.

ah. I will experiment with the settings tommorow, thanks all of you.

Download any of the white-to-black day cycle edits, start the daycycle, set day speed to 0, and set the delay slider to stay at pitch black, that's how I do it on my server.

That's a really roundabout way of doing it.

Don't use the gay stuff default textures and it will work
