Help with logitec F310 gamepad not working properly in left 4 dead 2

I just bought an F310 gamepad and tried playing left 4 dead with it. Everything works, except I can't look left and right with the joystick. How do I fix this?

Start>Search 'controller'>Set up a usb controller>click and go to properties>Settings tab in the top right>and click calibrate in bottom right corner>calibrate it>test it>Post back

Yes, I found out that if I reverse the joysticks, then the left stick lets me look around, but I can't move left and right with the right stick. I tried it with other games, and the right stick works fine. So I have no idea what's happening.

Damn left 4 dead 2 and its sticks. Try uhh. Binding "look left" and "look right" to the sides of your stick.
