King didnt even specifically say "vicious" but go ahead derail this train

if that's why you don't like them, fine. but there's no reason to call them things they aren't
*Things that they can easily be. It's not like all animals are these fluffy sacks of love fluff. In fact, there are probably more animals that act "viciously" than there are "nice" animals living in people's homes, and even the kinds of animals you describe can easily be set off.

And yeah, animals are just uninteresting in general.

let's consider black people for a second
there are plenty that are vicious and/or gross ("wild")
more than there are proper ones, perhaps
but I'm willing to say that the majority of those live in third-world african countries
and in some cases, when they're raised improperly or not taken care of, they can become vicious and/or gross in developed countries such as the US
but in general they are in much better shape than those in africa ("domesticated"), and I do not generalize the entire population because of the others
and even if I had had a terribly scarring incident with a black person in the past, I would not dislike all of them I'm sure

I'd like to think that's a good brown townogy I've just made

Maybe it was a better idea to ask this question on the megathread. Thanks for your answers though guys. Still surprised how it ended with Africans or something.

I really don't know if I like that brown townogy or not. On one hand, it's pretty straight to the point, but on the other hand, thats only because the term black person was replaced by animal.

Seems as though you haven't forgotten I'm black this time around.

But yeah, not all animals are bad and the ones that live here, sure, they behave a lot better. That still doesn't steer me anywhere towards them, and I can't change my preference of being as far as possible away from them.

Honestly, writing a word wall because I don't like animals wasn't really necessary.

it's a better idea to not ask it at all, with people
there are much more reliable sources of information than what you'll find here
like wikipedia

I actually wasn't thinking about that. it was just the easiest thing I could think of at the time

but yes, I believe it was
you said you didn't like animals, and I asked why
if you would've said
It's mostly personal experience. I just get really nervous when I'm around someone's dog or cat (or anything that isn't in a bowl/cage I guess). I can recall there being a specific reason for it but I forget.
then, I would have been fine with that
but someone else said they were crazy gross and/or vicious, and you agreed with them
and I thought that was worth correcting

what
why
oh for forgets sake night fox
i'd think you'd be the last guy to randomly question another person's opinion like this; and even less so to want to continue discussing/arguing about it afterwards.

You know, NF, you remind me a lot of myself when someone thought you needed to know C++ to use linux, that and when my friends actually thought being gay was a choice and that gay marriage shouldn't be legalized because it would piss off a lot of people.

Off topic, but I suppose it's a little cute when people fight for what they believe in. In that aspect, you and I aren't different, and I respect you for correcting me.

He's doing what any normal person would do; speak up when someone calls something stuff that they like a lot.

There's a thread for this crazy bullstuff. Locked.
