floating bricks?

my cousin made this thing outside of the bedroom with floating bricks, I was wondering how do you make the bricks float?

You dont. Its either a glitch or he used the world editor to delete the supporting bricks.

or he loaded a build from another map.

you can either load something from another map and it will float,or what i have done is use corner bricks to support something then load the map into a server which does not have the bricks and walla! floating bricks,but one hammer one brick put on there then cntrl z,will destroy the whole thing, it will just crumble,which would make a nice effect if you were making a movie.
