My iphone 4s sound isnt working

No sound EXCEPT the sound test is working.
Ive tried a hard reset.

Try factory reset, make a backup first.

That happens when the bottom gets wet. Dry it off. Not sure it this really works, but try putting it in a bowl of rice.

Check the top left side of it. You might have accidentally slide the Silencer on. That's what I did wrong when I got an iPhone.
