Mint won't run any better on that constricted of a memory space. If anything, it will run worse.
Did you already try using a more lightweight browser?

I can't get a lightweight browser because I can't get to any webpages. Of course there is the option of copying the installer to my USB and running it from there but I am going to try Puppy Linux first and see how that does, then if I get the same problem I'm going to get the drivers for my wireless card and a more lightweight browser (possibly Opera) and install all of it from the USB.

You could by some extra memory cards. DDR2 Isn't that old.

Yeah, that is an option too that I am considering. What I might have a problem with is installing them correctly but I can just look at Youtube videos.

Usually there are more browsers available in a distro's package browser, or the equivalent of the Ubuntu Software Center.

Coming from an Opera user, it is not as lightweight as you think. Midori is one of my favorite lightweight browsers. You can download it by running
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:midori/ppa && sudo apt-get update -qq && sudo apt-get install midori

Yep, a problem arised while using Puppy Linux.

When I was using it I followed this guide "http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=65346" to get connected to the internet. It worked and everything was fine and dandy and then I decided it would be best to do a reboot (don't know my logic there) so I rebooted and Puppy asked me to save my session to a file on my flash drive. I said ok and it saved there. When I came back to Puppy and tried connecting to the internet, it never works and always flashes between "associating..." and "disconnected..." and never is able to connect. I deleted my saved session file and rebooted to Puppy Linux and tried again. I cannot connect to the internet anymore, I have no loving idea what changed. Before this I could get on the internet and go to any webpage with no problems. I don't know what is going on with this.
