youtube has mulitple servers that have several copies of the website
updates are distributed via torrent across each one
thats why people see updates at different times

Go on a video

Click on the white, blank part of the page to the left of the comments section.

Press the buttons 1, 3, 3, 7. NOT on the numpad.

Look at the comments. It's pretty neat actually, not sure how long it's done that.

i had this update ages ago, it keeps playing up from time to time though
