Title says it all, what is the cheapest video card that can run shaders?

do you mean only minumum shaders? because i have that problem too.  <:|

Don't go for the cheapest video card.
You can get one that works fine for $50, not much of an investment either.

If your going to buy a new GPU, buy one that'll last. I'd go for the Geforce GTX 760 if you can, since it can definitely run shaders. Also,

There is more to getting a new graphics card than just getting it. Depending on your current computer specifications, you may need to upgrade your power supply. Additionally, your current hardware will limit how far you can upgrade. If you get a graphics card too powerful, it will bottleneck your CPU. If you upgrade your CPU, you'll probably have to get a new compatible motherboard as well, and then the PSU....

Basically, you should tell us your computer's specifications so we can give you a recommendation.

In reply to Pecon, to see your specs click "start" go go run and type dxdiag.exe and hit enter. After a little while a window will come up, it will have CPU, RAM (ram isnt really required to tell us but tell us anyways actually). Then go to the "Display" tab at the top and tell us the name of the card. To see your power supply you need to open up your computer and read the label on the PSU (or sometimes it says it right on the power supply), it can be a bit confusing so feel free to post a screenshot and we can help if you need any.
