why should the add-ons be private anyway
There are many reasons to do this
For example:
-the add-on is WIP
-the add-on is not user friendly
-the add-on is crap but needed for a vers specific place
-you worked hard on creating it and don't want others to use it for crap servers
-you just don't like seeing your work somewhere else while no credit is given
-you're an egoist and need the best add-ons for yourself
You also can't get scripts
